Day 4 - Girl Scout cookies are pure evil

Breakfast:  Egg fritata and one egg cupcake.  They are good, but need a change.  Bought some egg whites at grocery store tonight.

Lunch:  Chicken with green pepper, onions, like a fajita. Good sauce, wife winged it and did good.  And it has cumin in it.  Got to have some of that.  :)

Dinner:  Curry chicken with brocolli.  Not bad, just not a big fan of curry.

Snacks:    Few random nuts, fruit smoothie 1/2 late morning, half with lunch.  Bought a nice thermos for smoothies, so I drink as needed.  Carrots, hard boiled egg.

Random thoughts:  Busy day at work, helped alot.  No cravings today.  Day 3 was rough for the wife and I.  Wife had bad cravings for potato chips at night.  Even though we both took frustrations out picking on each other, it is nice to have each other to support and really have someone to hold us accountable.  I really want to do this 100% paleo 30 days. 

Today, we both felt good, no cravings, no headaches.

We got girl scout cookies yesterday, with the damn cravings.  OMG, tagalongs.  They are so awesome.  But I resisted.  The wife put them in the freezer.  I get a text message from my daughter this afternoon that our son had opened cookies and ate one.  She had one too of course.  Well, I get home, and there is 6 tagalongs gone, one whole row plus one.  The boy ate a whole row.  He has a sweet tooth, had  to explain to him that he get snacks with sugars with limited dose.  It's not like the kids are 100% paleo, they've had ice cream a couple times this week.  Both kids are eating well, they both inhaled the salmon, cauliflower and carrots. Tonight they both surprisingly ate the curry chicken with broccoli.  I think they are just adjusting to not as much junk food, sugar, etc.  They are actually doing very well, we just have to keep track of what they don't like.  So far it is not much. 

Tomorrow night we are adjusting schedule, making juicy paleo style burgers, no buns or cheese, that zapamamk suggested in a comment on my post for day 3.  Stopped by the grocery store tonight, got more fruits, carrots,  and ground beef for tomorrow night.  We are eating lots of smoothies with coconut milk, some type of berry, and some ice.  Experimenting with a little vanilla extract, nutmeg, almond butter and  banana, etc. in the smoothies.
